On December 1, 2020, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) finalized regulations for the 2021 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (PFS). Join subject matter experts from Medicare Revenue Cycle Specialists as they highlight the changes effective on January 1, 2021.

Topics to be discussed include:

• Medicare’s revised guidance on reimbursement for telehealth services to carry out home visits for evaluation and management (E/M) services, emergency department visits and other services
• The Medicare Physician Fee Schedule's conversion factor reduction
• Changes to E/M service relative value units (RVUs)
• Revisions to the scope of practice for physician extenders/mid-level providers
• Updates to Medicare Shared Savings Program reporting

This is the second discussion in a special series, a part of the CMS National Nursing Home Stakeholder Call Series, aimed at addressing staff questions and concerns about the new COVID-19 vaccines . Each session will be moderated by CMS with speakers from CDC and representatives of front line staff and providers.
