Home Health Campaign Leaps Forward


WVMI & Quality Insights’ Home Health Quality Improvement (HHQI) National Campaign recently presented “One Giant Leap for Preventive Cardiovascular Care,” a free interactive webinar featuring nationally renowned hypertension specialist John Flack, MD, MPH, FAHA, FACP, FASH. Dr. Flack shared practical approaches to preventing and managing hypertension during his one-hour keynote address. View the recording now. 

A representative of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) lauded that Dr. Flack’s presentation was, “The best I have listened to on the subject. Very patient centered in terms of actual management.” Nearly 500 live participants concurred based on highly positive feedback shared with event organizers. 

Dr. Flack is a professor and chair of the Department of Internal Medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. He has been named a “Top Doctor” from the Who’s Who Global Directory, was named one of Detroit’s “Super Doctors” and was Academic Physician of the Year from Oklahoma University School of Medicine. In 2009 the Detroit News named him Michiganian of the Year.

The HHQI National Campaign provides free resources to help home health agencies make a positive impact on patients’ health care and ultimately, their quality of life.
