Kidney Transplant Quality Improvement Activity (QIA)
Kidney transplantation is the preferred treatment for end-stage kidney disease, offering substantial benefits in terms of health, longevity, and quality of life. It removes the need for dialysis, helping patients regain strength, independence, and the ability to participate more fully in daily routines and activities.
The Network will support efforts to increase waitlisting and transplantation rates for eligible individuals with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) to meet CMS goals.
