Quality Insights will notify grantees via email by August 15, 2023. Additionally, grantees will be listed on the Quality Insights website.

The grant application is due on June 30, 2023, at 2 p.m. EST. We advise that you submit as soon as possible in case of submission errors.

As long as it falls within one of those eligible category area focused areas that we have identified in the grant information section, then it would be allowable.

You need to be a nonprofit or an educational institution to be eligible to apply.

The references are for organization references.

You will just need to provide contact information and information requested on the form. No reference letters necessary here. If your grant application advances in the review process, we may reach out to your references.

You can name your grant application whatever you’d like. A good description of what your organization is seeking funding for would work.

No, our grant program is strictly for non-profit organizations and educational institutions.

Awards are at the sole discretion of Quality Insights. All decisions are final, and there is no appeal process.

Yes, Federally Qualified Health Care Centers are eligible, as long as the funding is going to support a project independent from general operating expenses and is not serving as matching funds for another grant program.

Grants are available to nonprofits and educational institutions. The nonprofit or educational institution would need to be the grantee (prime filling out the application and signing the grant agreement), but partnerships are allowed. The partner organization would need to be included as a consultant or vendor (and don’t need to be nonprofit or educational institutions). The partner organization can also work with the grantee organization without being part of the budget on an in-kind arrangement.

No. There's no requirement to be registered in either of those databases.

A 501c4 would be able to submit. The key provision in the grant is that the applicant be nonprofit, and that qualifies.

We suggest your organization apply if you can demonstrate how the grant funding will directly impact the states in the eligible states and territories. They include: Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Yes, you are able to revise your application until the deadline of June 30, 2023, at 2 p.m. EST.

We're looking for what succinctly and best explains your project. Voluminous applications don't have a better chance of being awarded than smaller applications. You could fit something into 3 to 5 pages could be as effective as something that's 10 or 20 pages.

Quality Insights expects to award $100,000 in total. We estimate eight to 15 awards in amounts up to $20,000.

Successful grantees will be expected to complete a grant agreement similar to the one linked. Be sure to check it out to understand the implications of receiving the grant.

There's no cap on this. The funds are somewhat limited, so you know you need to be conscious of that when you're putting in your application.
