DPC TOOLKIT
The Decreasing Dialysis Patient-Provider Conflict (DPC) Toolkit was developed with funding from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and is based on the efforts and diligent work from a variety of content experts and work groups, including the ESRD Networks. The materials provided are designed for all levels of dialysis staff who provide direct patient care. The kit is composed of tools and resources regarding professionalism and conflict resolution.

Patient Liaisons
Facilities are encouraged to identify at least one patient to act as a liaison between the Network, facility and their peers. Patient liaisons are often sought by the Network to act as a focus group in vetting new patient resources, assisting in distribution of information, and a resource for understanding patient needs. They are also a pool of people from which the Network will recruit Patient and Family Advisory Committee members.
