Congratulations to the Million Hearts® Hypertension Control Champions in Pennsylvania
According to the Million Hearts® initiative, cardiovascular disease is responsible for one in three deaths and costs about one in every six healthcare dollars in the United States.
In support of this goal, Million Hearts® recognizes healthcare providers across the country as part of its annual Hypertension Control Challenge. In order to be recognized, healthcare practices must achieve hypertension control rates of at least 80% among 80% of their population ages 18 to 85 years who have hypertension.
